I came across an interesting video clip on YouTube the other day. It shows how easy it is for our brains to trick us into thinking that we've seen everything, when really we may have missed something important. For example, the cyclist passing the parked car, or the vehicle ahead indicating to pull over. Potential life or death situations. These happen all the time when we're driving and we need to make sure that we're not just concentrating on the obvious, but also expecting the unexpected.
