How has the theory test changed?

Since January 23rd this year, there has been a subtle change to the theory test. Many pupils have been concerned about this change and there have been lots of rumours flying around that the test is now harder. But it’s not. Essentially little has changed. The source material for all of the questions is the same. The big thing that’s changed is that the DSA no longer publish the exact questions that will be asked in the test itself. This seems pretty sensible to me. What other exam would you take where you’ve already seen the questions that you’ll be asked?  The point is, that if you have learnt your stuff, you should be able to answer questions about it.

For more information see the DSA website, and ask your instructor for help. If you're a South Brum Driving School pupil, then ask me about the free mock theory tests available to you from South Brum's partnership with Theory Test Pro.
